A First look

Redragon K502 is a 104 key RGB LED Backlit Illuminated keyboard, has quiet Island-style Chiclet low-profile keys designed for longevity, durability and responsiveness and 6 different lighting modes & effects. It also comes with a full numeric keypad and a gold-plated corrosion free USB connector for a reliable connection.

Design

Something you will like about this keyboard is extra-large wrist rest and non-slip adjustable rear feet for adjusting the right typing angle. The flip-up legs at the top haven’t got rubber grips so it can slide around if your table is smooth. It has a soft rubbery surface that doesn’t pick up fingerprints, enabling nice and easy typing experience.

Ergonomic arm-support design

Both WASD and arrow keys have a WASD and arrow keys, so you can set the normal keys actually as the WASD keys or even the other way. You can do this by pressing the FN key with the W key. Pressing that 2 buttons again, will switch them back to normal.

Multi-functional keys

F1 to F12 keys can also be function keys, pressing the FN key with your one of F1-F8 keys, as media keys (pause, play, volume up, volume down, etc.). F9 to F12 are keys for productivity(opening email, web browser, calculator and lock the keyboard).

If you want to lock the windows key, just press the FN key with the windows key. But if you want to enable it again, press those two once more.

Karura has 7 different backlight colors: red, green, blue, yellow, aqua, purple, white and no backlight color mode. You can change the brightness while pressing the FN key with a page up or page down and also adjust the brightness speed with the Fn key and the minus or equals key. Other functions are below:

A lot of game streamers will like to have something like this keyboard because the keys are very silent. Their mic doesn’t record the sound of the key. The typing experience is really nice, and the low-profile keys look stunning.

The only bad thing about this keyboard is the red stripe and the red cable, so it wouldn’t fit nicely with a different color. Also one thing, the LED only shines in the middle of the space bar so it doesn’t light up the entire space, so that’s something to consider.
